      14. - instr() function updated to be more safe. since you can specify an offset, this offset is checked so it will not read beyond the string.

      17. - bascomp command line utility now accepts the devicename as a parameter. if you have tools that use the ID you need to check this !
      18. bascomp "yourfile.bas" would be the syntax you use when the settings are stored in the source
      19. bascomp "yourfile.bas" can have parameters like DEVICE=devicename where devicename is for example ATMEGA88 or ATMEGA88PB
      20. The old parameters like FR,SS and HW still work too. When you provide a parameter other than the filename, it will override the setings from the source code !
      21. This allows to compile for diffrent processors with different settings. See also the help.
      22. - assigining a long in binary notation without leading zero would result in -1
      23. - lookdown() supports long and dword too now.
      24. - software uart has an additional mode parameter.
      25. - simulator did not simulate the xtiny virtual mapped port registers.

      30. - rainbow libs rolled back. the automatic platform code had the disadvantage of requiring a call instead of rcall
      31. - font editor fixed. The width of the font was not properly saved when it wasn't a multiple of 8.
      32. - various fonts changed in IDE. There is also a new option to override the windows system settings.
      33. - m48pb dat file modified. DDRE entry was invalid
      34. - a number of icons are changed. Also new bigger icons included which can be selected in the options. This is intended for high resolution DPI. The icons are still in the ICO format however which mean that they do not scale perfect as SVG would do. This is in the works as well.
      35. - DB/AVRX support. The xtiny add on is required. You need to update the add on lib.
      36. - selecting external programmer with the {CHIP} parameter would crash the IDE on start up.
      37. - XTINY low baud rate like 1200 baud overflowed the register : double speed can not be used for low baud.

      Das Problem liegt an der Benutzung großer Monitore bzw. großer Pixelanzahl.
      Windows erkennt das und stellt bei mir z.B. die Schriftgröße auf 150%
      (Start-Einstellungen-Erleichterte Bedienung-Anzeige-Alles größer einstellen-Auswahlfeld)
      Bei einer Einstellung von 100% funktioniert es in Bascom.
    • Danke für den Hinweis, das zeigt Wirkung!

      Offensichtlich sind die Texte in den Reitern nur bei Verwendung des Systemfonts so abgeschnitten ("Overwride Systemfont" nicht angehakt).
      Sobald man "Overwrite Systemfont" anhakt und dann einen "IDE System Font" auswählt sieht es besser aus.

      Ich habe als IDE System Font diesen ausgewählt: Calibri Standard 11
      Und das sieht toll aus. Mir gefällt das! Mir war die Schriftgröße für das Menü auch zu klein gewesen.

    • Bei mir macht der Simulator in 2.0.8.5 eigenartige Probleme. Es wird ein Fehler gemeldet, obwohl beim compilieren kein Fehler gemeldet wurde.
      Es heißt dann "List Index out of Bonds(8225).
      Es gibt dann nur die Zeilennummern, keinen Code.
      Das gleiche mit der Version 2.0.8.3 oder .4 funktioniert, da funktioniert der Simulator, Code vorhanden usw.
      Was könnte es damit auf sich haben?

      Wozu sollte das Programm veröffentlicht werden?
      Ich habe ausdrücklich darauf hin gewiesen, das gleiche Programm arbeitet unter Version 2.0.8.3 oder .4 problemlos mit dem Simulator!
      Es kann somit nicht an diesem Programm liegen.

      Viel eher kommt in Frage, wo dieses $SIM im Programm gestanden haben könnte. Habe diesen Eintrag vor die üblichen Zeilen mit
      $regfile = "m1284pdef.dat" '"m644def.dat"
      $hwstack = 80
      $swstack = 80
      $framesize = 60

      $lib "I2C_TWI.LBX"
      Config Twi = 100000 'DS1307 kann nicht schneller als 100 Khz
      $programmer = 16

      gesetzt, weil ich dachte, es sollte ab erster Zeile, erster Zeilennummer funktionieren. Der Compiler sollte das händeln können.
      Tja, habe auf Verdacht (weil es nur Zeilennummern gab, keinen Code) diese $SIM Anweisung hinter obige Zeilen gesetzt.
      Blieb aber ohne Wirkung, wird in 2.0.8.5 immer noch mit "out of Bonds(8225)" behandelt.

      Nochmal, in den vorherigen Bascom Versionen funktioniert das Programm problemlos.
      Ich wollte aufmerksam machen, und nachfragen, ob jemand den Zusammenhang mit "List Index ist out of Bonds" etwas sagen könnte.
      Ich lasse den Simulator halt mit vorherigen Versionen arbeiten.

      Damit der Fehler nachvollzogen werden kann. Bei mir verursachen die Zeilen oben einen anderen Fehler:
      Error : 336 Line : 8 Could not set specified CLOCK value [100000] , in File : B:\noname2.bas
      (Das $Crystal fehlt/ist höher)

      Die Position von $sim sollte egal sei, muß aber vor der ersten Abfrage (#if _sim..) sein.

      Das $Cristal fehlt nicht!. Ist in obigem Auszug nur nicht vorhanden, folgt unmittelbar dem Abschnitt.
      Ich kann momentan nicht verstehen, warum manche das komplette Programm analysieren wollen, wenn genau dieses Programm auf vorherigen
      Bascom-Versionen einwandfrei funktioniert, keine Probleme macht. Nur halt in der neuesten Bascom Version, und dort nur im Simulator, das Problem macht.

      Ich wollte nur mal sehen, ob ich in meiner neuesten Version die Dinge entdecken kann, die Ihr in diesem Thread berichtet habt.
      Habe dafür ein funktionsfähiges Programm in Version 2.0.8.5 geladen, compliert und dann den Simulator gestartet.
      Als dann etwas ganz anderes kam als hier berichtet, stutzte ich und wollte diesen Unterschied mit teilen und hinterfragen, was Out of Bonds bedeuten könnte.

      So sieht der Simulator nach dem starten aus, Bild per Paint-Screenkopie beigefügt.
